I started reading...
this post last night, and have been silently reflecting on it for a while.
There have been many many favorites, and without trying to sound too sappy, it is pretty incredible to have a bunch of like minded (mini speaking that is) individuals come together and create a virtual family. One very cool thing is that we have a shared history (at least here on CMON) and some of those events have become part of our collective story, giving life to the forums.
Anyhow, sappiness aside, here are some of my favorite things from CMON in no particular order...
Barkel telling his continuing story in his signature.
The entire Robius mystery, and how a gang of teenagers and their crafty dog Scooby Do solved it.
Being mistaken for Dauber22 so often that we were accused of being one in the same.
Then finding out that we shared the same first name, the same zodiac sign, and several other uncanny coincedences. (this event also spawned the birth of SuperDauber)
Using the \'mistaken identity\' of Dauber22 to convince many people that he was the one who started the Word Association Thread.
Finally figuring out who actually was SuperDauber (twasn\'t me!!)
Trying to decode any of BigMeanElf\'s posts.
Watching with amazement how the RLobinske character subsequently pissed off half the community, then buried himself even deeper.
Wondering why no one ever seems to have a camera when AlexiZ is around...?
Congratulating Finn (then with his Dilbert avatar) when he reached 100 posts....then 200,300, 500 etc. etc. etc...
Trying like hell to paint a \'decent mini\' to get a good score and then on a lark, paint one just for fun, and getting the highest score I ever received here. (the wizards pin, in my gallery)
Wondering who was really the original Posting Freak. No one ever seems to take credit for that????

lol
That whole Infamous Five thing makes me smile.
Thinking that IPM would lose interest in posting arount post number 300.

Getting to \'chat\' with CMON members on MSN Messenger...airhead, tidoco, dragonsreach...
Paintaid, round robin, sending (and recieving packages to folks around the globe)
Wondering why Valander never mentions \"tweening\"
Having a \'private contest\' with Herb the Bitter. We have made an agreement to not buy any miniatures until we have each painted 20. Currently I have finished 4, (16 to go) Herb the Bitter has none finished (but I have a feeling his will be infinately better than anything I could do)
I\'m sure there are more I didnt mention....just as I am sure there are more yet to happen!!!
(cool thread Becca!!)
