Heard an junior school play...

The line as it should have been delivered:

\"Ah, fair maiden I have come to snatch a kiss and fill your soul with hope\".

The line as it was delivered:

\"Ah, fair maiden I have come to kiss your snatch and fill your hole with soap\".

It went further downhill from thereon in
:flip:

I\'m still a newbie, but one of my favorite parts of this site is finally \"meeting\" (online) all the people I\'ve heard Grumb talk about AND finally getting to meet (in person) some of the other CMoNers. Atlanta GD was great for that one reason alone. (See the pics in the CMoN conventions thread!)

Like Spacemunkie said in another thread - now I\'d really like to travel around - of course, I don\'t live in a sh*t hole type of a place, but I would like to travel around and meet all you crazy people! Looking forward to Orlando and meeting Airhead and hopefully getting to see TAB and IPM.

Because, ultimately, it\'s about the people. If all of you sucked nobody would stay on this site. lol I\'m just glad I got to meet a bunch of people who are as crazy as I am, but still willing to give advice to a newbie painter. (Did I mention I painted for the first time at GD yesterday? Yay - had a great time. Of course it was the Paint-n-Take and it absolutely sucks, but it sure was fun!)

@Sturm - I know I said you scared me, but I\'ve changed my mind after that lightbulb (light bulb..maybe lamp?) thread. Made me laugh - Thanks!

Reminds me of our Macbeth play. A friend of mine played a messenger and should have said

\"My liege! The forest comes!\" (cries from outside) \"And my liege, the queen is dead - by her own hand.\"

However, he was pretty drunk when we did the play. What he actually said was

\"My liege! The forest is dead!\" (pretty confused, half-assed crying from the others who are not entirely sure how to deal with this) \"And my liege, the queen comes - by her own hand.\"

The best furk-up onstage was when one of my Shakespeare cronies said during Julius Ceasar:
Thou art the most Roble Noman of them all!

Audience didn\'t catch it, but not more than a minute, the director comes down to the dressing rooms:

WHAT THE !@*$ is a ROBLE NOMAN?!?!

lol

Can\'t compare with snatching a soap, or is that holing a kiss? ???

the worst i was involved in

was last year in \"Fiddler on the Roof\" the line is

\"we need to go to crakow to get away from the pogram\"

as it was delivered...

\"we need to go to a crack hoe to get away from the pogram\"

classic, it only made it better cause the girl who delivered the line was like one of those \"im the most perfect girl in the world type person\" classic stuff right there....

@Modderhu - There\'s a Monty Python sketch with that line in it.

@Becca - I bet she doesn\'t know where Cracow is or what a pogrom is, either.
:D

Line heard during a D&D game last weekend:

Player: \"Does being dead make me more attractive to the succubi?\"

DM (zora): \"Being dead makes you more attractive to most of us.\"

I am flying to England (and Nottingham)on the 22nd, so if I can afford it I would love to go to Salute and meet up with you guys. When, where, how much does it cost etc. Any train connections? Is it expensive? Is anyone perhaps travelling from or via Nottingham saturday morning? Or is that too late?

So many questions....:)

When, where, how much does it cost etc. It\'s at the Olympia (near Kensington I think), London starting at 10:00 am.
Costs £8.75 for a pre-booked ticket.

Where are you arriving in at, London Heathrow, Manchester or Birmingham international.?

Any train connections? Is it expensive?Travel by Train in the UK is expensive (& unreliable), which is why a friend & I are flying down to London from Manchester.

Is anyone perhaps travelling from or via Nottingham saturday morning? Or is that too late?

So many questions....:)

This is for you Dauber!

Just wanted to pop this thread back up to the top of the forums again so Dauber could see that we did have some fun while he was away.
