Hello everyone! I been wondering what does future wash do? is it the same as puting soap in your wash? Or do they do two diferent things?

Thank you all!

In my experience, yes, they do the same thing.. except future washes tend to dry alittle more glossy (obviously, because it has future in it...)

It\'s the same concept, break tension so the pigment flows away from the center towards the recesses. While I have never used soap in my inks I myself have a bottle of premixed plain IE no color. It is made from 2/3 water 1/3 future so I have it ready to go when I need a specific color. It works well and there is a gentleman who sells it premixed online for 3 bucks a pop calling it wonder wash.

Future makes paint much more durable for not rubbing off while painting and after a matte seal it losses all gloss. I also notice such improved flow of the paint. I used it at first got away from in and now with a helpers advise I am back and would not change. It is all about what suits you though

Future works pretty good, but I prefer to use an acrylic flow agent. Irregardless of the product, the reason these products work is that they contain a detergent which binds to the water base and loosens the bonds between water molecules. This breaks the surface tension and allows it to flow more easily over the figure.

The reason I use a product made especially for acryllic paints is that (IMO mind you) it suspends the pigment more evenly. I also find that it makes the paint more durable, but, as TAB says, some people find this quality in Future as well.

First I didn\'t get it and thought why Future Wash, can a wash really be futuristic? Or is it because in the future everyone will be using it, whatever it is? I\'m getting old, I mean tired.
