Hi guys,

weeks ago i started to built this for my chaos army. Everthing is fine now, except 2 things:

1. the wheel at the front is to small and filigree, but i can´t find a 40k near 70mm wheel, maybe some of you got an idea?

2. some people told me that the bike still have a 'toy-look', but for me it is difficult to see that, because i am see it everyday and prejudiced, so someone got ideas how to eradicate this 'toy-look'?

Here´s the link: http://coolminiornot.com/255245http://coolminiornot.com/255446

Thx a lot and sorry for my bad english! :cyclops:

I have to say i like it. I dont think the wheels are to big or small and it definatly makes a change from the normal bike.

i think it looks cool. photos aren't the best. you are better off posting in the forums like this than submitting for feedback on wips. also, don't post loads of angles of the same model as different submissions, make a montage, it's easy enough.

welcome to the forums and don't apologise for your english, it's very good

I believe the toy look will vanish when it gets more paint on it. This looks totally badass! The front wheel is definitely ok in my eyes! Judging from the flavour text for one of the entries we can expect three more bikers coming later on? Looking forward to those! :D

That is a truly awesome idea! And well executed as well.

A problem that I see (and it might be related to the "toy-look"-comments) is the scale-definition. Since my english isn`t the best it might be a bit difficult to understand what I mean, but I try my best.
The guy is supposed to be really really huge in WH40k terms right? And his bike is approximately the size of a baneblade?
The problem is: There is next to nothing on the model that allows a scale comparison with normal GW size. So until you position him on a gaming table next to all those tiny lead man, he just looks like an average deamon riding a bike, not like the gigantic monster he is supposed to be.
While the bones and skull on his bike look awesome, they do nothing to show of the size, since they are monstrous huge themselves.
So what do I suggest?
Hang him with dead marines, give him a smashed Cybot torso in his hands, make his front weel crush trugh the remains of an average house or tank. Give him normal-sized deamons or CSM`s standing on his shoulders. Things like that, you get the idea.

Good luck with your great project.
Greetings, Yuggoth

Better front wheel than those "Tonka Toy" wheel's on most of the 40k bikes. Good looking piece you have going there.
