I\'ve been posting things on the down-low for a few months, but I finally have something I feel I can go public with.

I\'ve posted my Dark Angels Dreadnought for review. I would love to get a critique of the work. Since I went to art school I\'m immune to harsh criticism, so fire away!

Thanks....

I\'ll vote an 8 on this one: the painting is very good and the base looks nice.

Try a different model, less static than this one and I\'m sure you\'ll reach 9 easily.

Hey! that\'s what I gave it too...

I reckon it\'s an 8. Can\'t really criticise it because I think you have extracted everything the sculpt can give.
Just as a matter of interest, does your handle rhyme with Holland or Poland?

It\'s a concensus!

I gave it an 8, as well, and for pretty much the same reasons. I can\'t say anything against your paint job. It\'s apparently flawless. It\'s just that the model it\'s self could use a little dynamism.

SOrry :( Just can\'t come up with any harsh criticism for you :innocent: Better luck next time ;)lol

Eight it is!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

I agree, the pose is a little staid. In my defense, after shelling out US$80 for a US$35 model, I was a little hesitant to take a razor saw to a resin model!

@finn: Honestly, I don\'t know! It\'s from a Russian novel (Master and Margarita) and the character is supposed to be German, so I would guess Poland? :)

Brushlicker and Freak!
I\'m gonna buck the trend, I think its a little better than an 8, so you get a 9 from me :)
