FW Titans

Ok, I'm relatively new to the forum (I know, no painted minis, its a shame), but I need some opinions.

Are they actually fun to put together or do they become bothersome?
Any opinion on arm choice?

they whole ebay thing worked out so i changed the post...

all i get is a 'listing has ended' notice

if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. having said that, the evil part of me says, if you just want to have a copy and cant afford the massive price tag..sod it

Sadly, any fakery out there does nothing to reduce the prices that legitimate Forgeworld models are sold for. As much as I love to say "screw GW", ripping them off ultimately only shoots the hobby in the foot... Lots of other games and miniature sellers out there to give our money to if we can't afford GW/FW.

Tsk tsk ;)

I'm with NSA though. Although GW isn't one of my favourite brands, I still think that something like this would be bad. Forgeworld probably did a lot of work to get the business running and amaze everyone with their great sculpts, so IMO they deserve to be the only sellers.
I do think that FW keeps an eye out for these kind of things. Or else, we might have seen more of these things happening.

The thing is I'm not certain it is a fake. It just seems a bit off.

And to all the don't screw over actually GW or FW people I have no intetion on ripping them off, and I won't even open the can of worms that is GW not like ebay auctions, I was just looking for a deal and some new IG hardware. It hadn't occured to me something might be wierd till i got the second chance notice.

If you have concerns on the item just message the seller and ask him about the things that concern you, then you can judge with a little more information if you want to buy or not.

not everything is a fraud though there are a lot of them, there are a number of reasons why things may be getting dumped fast and for a loss. Divorce, Death, Moving, Bankrupt, Business failed, Job loss, & a lot of others.

So just open up a dialog with the seller and see whats going on.

FW are sculpting some of my favorite models and it would be a real loss if GWS shut down that branch cause of poor rentability or problem related to recast. i may sound alarmist, but i bet FW aint the most lucrative part GWS since they sell very limited amount of product each years. Plus im pretty shure that its runing low staff by a few of very passionate guyz working hard to keep the prodject affloat.

Models price may seem crazy , but go and try scratch building one of them titans of equal quality and youll see ya wont be selling it for a hundred bucks.

just my 2 cent, hope i dont sound (read) to much like a GWS fanboi =) Its just that it would be sad to not ever see any new big boy dream toy from FW that make you go AWWWWSOME!
