Managed to complete a mini before 2013! Wohoo!

Prepped it several years ago, painted most of it last christmas but redid a lot of stuff now. When it comes to painting technique - not among my best pieces, mostly due to bad prepwork, but stylewise I am getting towards where I want. The freehand was dotted to look embroidered

I like her. Agree some parts need more work - the left eye bothers me. There is a lot to love though, not least that spiffy fabric

Hm, yeah didn't notice it but it does look off a bit. The face sculpt is slightly warped as well. Just see it as faithful portrayal of Galadriel after a very slight stroke.

The fabric is great and the face is well done but it looks like two faces joined. It lacks symmetry is all.
