Gale Force 9 custom shields?

Does anyone have any experience of using the gale force 9 laser carved custom shelds?

I have a dwavern army with a colour scheme running throughout. I want to keep the shield colours the same, on each unit, but change the design to represent each unit and banner.

I\'d like the finished designs to be of a similar style to the GW shields (ie with a raised rim, and a relief of the design). I thought about seeing if a model shop could brass etch designs, but then i came across the GF9 service and thought this might be ideal?

My alternative is to do them by transfer – probably with little big man …

Any advice or experience with either GF9 shields, brass etched designs etc gratefully received!

You could use these guys but I think the cost willbe prohibative. You could do transfers but I personally dont like them.

You could paint the design on youself.
You could sculpt the design and make press moulds for the rest of the unit. The list is endless.

I think GW have old dwarf shields in varies designs that are of the type you want as well.

The idea of lazer etching sounds good. Just depends on cost.
