Game Color New paint colours

Hi all

I just discovered that I\'m getting a delivery of new Game Color paint colours tomorrow.... I wasn\'t aware there was any to be honest... so quite a nice bit of news really. The new colours are;

Khaki, Earth, Desert Yellow, Yellow Olive, Terracotta, Tan, Cayman Green, Smokey Ink (Smoke?). Also new are - Glaze Medium, Matt varnish, Satin Varnish and Gloss Varnish.

All in all, a good \'neutral\' range of colours to strengthen the existing range.

What happened to the convoluted GW name rip offs? I rather enjoyed those:D

Are these matches for the new colours GW launched recently?

I felt there were still a few holes in the \"game color\" line. These will be nice additions indeed!

Good, I was waiting for that to come before i fill up a basket and send an order to you ;)

finn: Yup, they are.. and plus some nice stuff, smokey ink is basically smoke. And those mediums should come in handy.

Commando Khaki, graveyard earth, desert yellow, ?, terracotta, tanned flesh, and catachan green... i think ;)

I\'ve been off-line for a week or more and the new Vallejos are quite a pleasant surprise to come back to. I feel an order coming on! Not too sure what to make of the smokey ink stuff. The matt varnish might be worth giving a go just in case someone has managed to produce something that actually dries matt!

Please post if you give it a try and it does dry matte. I wonder if it\'s the same formula as the Model Color matte varnish.

Nice! I\'m getting frustrated with GW desert yellow, it\'s coverage is a joke, it takes three coats to cover black :(

Beelzebrush, expect my order very soon :D

Ooh, it might be an idea to put the new colours together into a set so taht people who have already bought the whole Game colour range (ie me lol ) can complete their set without trying to find which ones are new

Ordered all the new colours and a matte varnish yesterday! Hope my order arrives soon as I\'m almost out of black.!

Don\'t worry KingM, GM has all the new colours tagged onto the end of their current list of Vallejos so it\'s pretty easy to figure out which ones are new.

I\'m not sure if I just misread the time label (several times) but at least here in Germany those colours are not new.... I got all of them several months ago, including the glaze Medium and the Matt Varnish (which seems to actually dry matte by the way, at least that\'s what my 8 Dioptrins say). Exceptions are the satin and gloss varnish, I did not buy these ;) Also they are available in the so-called \"specialist set\", but this one also includes some other colours.

No, it\'s game colour. I just put my bottles in a nice row to take a prove shot, but for some reason, my parents took the camera with them on their vacation ;) Believe me, it\'s game colour, if you really want prove, I can take a shot tomorrow ;)
