Games Day 2006 mini

I haven\'t posted a mini in a long time! I painted this guy up for a commission for a friend. After I took the pics I mounted him on a display plinth from Dragon Forge. Actually made it magnetic so the mini could be removed from the base for storage or transport. I used a spray paint that appeared to be hammered metal when dry on the plinth. Of course I didn\'t get any pictures of the mini on the plinth as I was behind the time table on this project and had to get it shipped out as soon as possible. So, please feel free to vote and as always I look forward to ANY C & C from the members on the site!

looks nicely painted but it\'s hard to tell with such small photos. also the axe looks as if it is floating!

Ditto what FIC said. Looks real nice but hard to say from the pics

Hair and tattoos look great from what I can see. Unique color scheme for the demon, but I like it! I think the edges of each of the horns ridges could use a brighter highlight, just a touch here and there.

I wish GW would make a full demon on it\'s own rather than just that head (and the trophies). That would be a hot seller!

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I will try blowing up the original pics.

I was on a really short project timeline for this one so I stuck with colors I new I could pull off rather quickly. Green and blue are two colors that don\'t give me problems. I was thinking of painting him red, but then it would contrast too much with the pooling blood.
