Hey peeps,

made finalist in 2008 and 2009 and aiming to go one better this year, miracles do happen!!, and i want to go to town on my base this time. Entering Warhammer regiment category and wanted some advice, mainly does the base have to be 100% all my construction? for instance there are many cottage industries that now produce detailed individual miniature bases, could these be integrated into my regiment base?

Any ideas?

It is allowed, though I think in at least one version of the rules you had to declare that the base wasn't your work. It didn't count against you but wont' count for you, I guess that's the thinking.

which country are you entering? how strict the judges are varies a fair bit as i understand. i wouldn't risk it though

I do know that in America and Canada they were always strict about that. (after market sculpting) was not allowed. as freakinacage said they may not be as strict in other countries but it does seem to always be against the rules.

This is a risk you can take but I don't advise you to. As said everyone, it depends which country you're entering.
