This games day was my first and hopefully not last games day and as always, the competition on and off the battlefield was tougher than ever. The golden demon was exceptionally grueling this year. I will update as I upload pics.

Oh gosh, seems that some poeple will have a loooot to explain after this... and more when the coverage comes out...

There areat least TWO Commision Works from my polish friends handed in...

I have asked them and they had no clue...

Bad thing... :(... we will see wether they are Golden Demon winners now without knowing it...

Oh dear... why do the GD\'s not require several work in progress photos to ensure honesty? It would be so easy, anyone who paints should have access to some sort of camera.

Proof

I found that pegasus knight. It\'s here on CMON painted by an artist called edgeofshadow here: Bretonnia Pegasus Knight which sold on eBay for $105.

Was edgeofshadow at GD?

@ DFD - Just the Shaggoth is Demon Color\'s as far as I can tell. It\'s in his gallery.

Is somebody going to inform the judges? The proof is right here online that these entrants aren\'t submitting their own work.

Err..

Man this makes the demons seem even worse too me now than they did before... I felt like there was some quality work there, but there was maybe 20 entires per cat., sometimes as little as 4.... :flame:

Yep, that pegasus knight is the one in the GD photos... What a shame :( It would be bad enough if the \"winner\" was only cheating themselves... but they are cheating everyone else who entered too

OK, I have a few questions for y\'all. I just noticed that the Toronto GD is in about 2 months. It\'s close by and not too expensive, so it might be fun for me to go and enter a few pieces in the comps. I doubt I\'d make it past first cut but I don\'t really care. I think it\'d be cool to enter some really vintage minis just for kicks.

So is anybody else going to Toronto? As for the comp, the rules seem pretty simple but are there any restrictions on models other than that they must be GW and you can\'t mix LOTR and WH minis?

No, no...only ONE - Shaggoth ! But This SPACE MARINE painted my FRIENDS - IRKUCK (and he have gallery in CMON too). We sold these minis in EBay long time ago...

Maybe someone know FANTASY LARGE MODEL CATEGORY result ?!?!

p.s sorry for my bad english =(((

No Problem with the English...:)...

If the mini won anything you should insist in getting the Golden Demon Trophy, Demon Color...:D... So something good would be from that...^_^...

Yeah, I immediately recognized that bretonnian knight and the shaggoth too. Demon Color\'s style is very distinct, I am amazed that the person entering these wasn\'t caught there at the show. It\'s really a shame...

Not to hijack the thread- but in addition to the restrictions you mentioned there are base size restrictions- particularly the size of the plinth they\'re on if you use one. I went in 2004, but won\'t be going this year. Good luck.

I do hope the person who entered those gets tarred and feathered. It\'s a shame it didn\'t happen at the show because now someone misses out on an earned demon.
