They were shipping free of charge abroad at the french GD this year. Let\'s hope they do too for the UK one ;).

:D Does that mean you are planning to hit them big time and its easier for them to send it to you rather than you cart it back:D

Entering WFB Single, Spacemunkie has seen it.......but Im not showing you and Scott aint seen it finished :D

I dunno whether FW will have another sale, I think they did it last year to run down their stocks of collector\'s series figs that are now only limited run items (ie they cast up a few occasionally and sell them rather than having them available to order all the time). I managed to miss the sale at last year\'s GD :(

well i am going to enter something! and i\'ll be bringing down some of the stuff that i have in my gallery. i would really appreciate if others going could do the same. oh and if we can bring photos of our entries too just so we know which one were banging on about after several pints in the pub!

Im going - hope to enter a few categories.

No hope of winning everything but I hope I can meet a few of the top painters and pick up a few tips and stuff, and will just be nice to meet some like-minded individuals face to face for once.

oh..

FW told me they would hold whatever I want...just email them in sept and they keep it there for u.

So anyone can contact them to do so...

even with no shipping duty would kill me on those models, so i\'ll find a way to fit it into luggage and bring it back.

Who\'s up for a friendly game or speed painting?

Stuart\'s idea of bringing pics of the entries or other minis is cool, I\'m game for that.

If most people are going to be entering the GD\'s then maybe meeting up outside the registration entrance would be an idea?

Speed Painting as in cram yourself in between some brat on a table and nothing to water down or mix the paint in other than a tile provided by GW hmm not sure I want to try it that way :D

Bringing phot\'s is a good idea but I do not have a colour printer at the moment.

I see the problem, but don\'t forget that we have physical mass advantage to the above stated brat ;). I thought it was fun goofing off at the french one :p. Plus, I\'m sure some of the brush lickers won\'t mind painting with the brush in their mouth and their hands in their back ;).

What you mean there is another method of painting besides brush licking lol

I see a problem though as a brush licker with my hands behind my back I am left with the wrong end of the brush sticking out to paint with lol

Haven\'t really thought of a time yet, not sure what time I will arrive although I am planning on making it early rather than later.

I was planning to give my cell # to people, however, it would be long distance as i\'m coming to UK from Canada. People could text me, but if anyone provides me a cell #, I will call after my entry is submitted (between 9 or 10 am on the sunday i imagine). I also want to ttake some photos of the other works if possible (and some group photos of all).

As well, I am free the sunday nite to go out to a bar, restaurant, club, whatever! I leave monday afternoon for Portsmouth.

my plans...

I reach london gatwick friday morning (23rd) 4 am, and will find a train to birmingham...

I will be in birmingham staying at some local bed/breakfast, so Green STuff, I am in birmingham on the friday/saturday :).

Then the 26th I go to Portsmouth, and then to Isle of White. Thursday I am back in London (29th) and wil be in London (staying at a hotel near Victoria station in zone 1) until tuesday the 4th ...
