Games Day, what special new stuff will there be?!

Hi Everyone,

Other than the new titan and fortress from Forgeworld, does anyone else have any idea what new stuff they\'ll be releasing at Games Day? Just wondering whether I need to sell my soul to pay for a new beastie or something... ;)

Ther is a whole host of new Tau bits and pieces that I think will be available plus also agin I think the Battle for McCragge box.
As to anything else I\'ll just have to wait and see. Only seven days to go though so the wait shouldn\'t be too bad.

Battle for Macragge should be there as it\'s released the day before Gamesday.

Also, they\'re supposed to have Mengil\'s Manhides, Mordor Troll Chieftans and the plastic Space Marine Command box (expect that to sell out fast).

Never know, Fanatic might bring along the Inquisitor Arbite Judge. That\'s just a guess but it\'s released only 4 weeks after gamesday.

i\'ll be there! ;) lollollol....expect me to infect you all with nasty viruses though, I picked up a cold in london last week, now I\'ve got a lung infection...joy of joys. but I\'m a trooper, i\'m going to games day, even if it\'s the last thing i do!(depending on my entries being done ofcourse)

I\'m hoping that they\'ll have Lysander on sale, but I\'m not convinced they will. I know for one thing i\'m not going to cue for two hours to get models that will be available in the coming months....I hate cueing...:(

Eat Chilli\'s. Small red one\'s, they\'ll help to clear your sinuses.
Get some \"Vick\'s\" rub on for your chest. Horrible smelly stuff that helps.
Plenty of Chicken Soup! (There you don\'t have to call your Mum for that advice. lol

Stay in bed. Don\'t paint. That\'ll allow the cheap seats like me to have a chance. :D;)

Lysander is the new imperial fist termie captain...prettyyyyy......

Oh, and no, being the sickly git that i am, i\'m actually on a course of steroid anti biotica bullshit for my lungs. Hate that stuff, makes my face puff up like a balloon! staying in bed is exactly what i\'m doing, together with a wax 5, some green stuff and my entries...hopefully i can paint them in a few days... :S

Luckily you have spent many years honing the \'paint really quickly in a way that GW really like\' skill. So, that helps a load :)

Not keen on Lysander like that. Not bad but looks a bit \'Warmachiney\' if you ask me. The shield is a cool idea though.

Guess I\'ve just got my own view of what a Terminator Captain should look like. Give me a week and a day and I\'ll show everyone :D

Now, message for Tammy\'s lungs. Get your bloody act together! Do your job. :flame:

They\'re supposedly gonna have the new marine codex on sale too, but I bet they\'ll have a stupidly small amount of copies available :rolleyes:

btw, on the subject of Mengil\'s manflayers, they\'re sculpted by Chris Fitzpatrick right?
So what\'s the deal, did he do them before he left gw and its taken them this long to release them, or did he do them freelance?

I was chatting with some of the staff at Warhammer World store and they seem to think that the Space Marine command box will be on sale but as previously mentioned I think it will sell out fast. I think I can wait just a bit longer for that one.
Hope you feel better for GD Tammy.

Fitz started sculpting the Manflayers while still at GW and finished them as a freelance project.

The following will be there for sale.....

Battle for Macragge, mengals manhides, space marine command sqaud (plastic £18), space marine commander (£8) plastic.

Specialist games stuff that is new will include the ratskins, julian diaz new elf mage for mordheim, steve B\'s =I= enforcer (won\'t be much of any of the specalist new stuff there so be quick).

Forge world will have the new tau bits (hammerheads, new little tau 40K skimmer fings), the new scenery (limited numbers on the day cos it being so new) including the wrecked chimera, etc. Also there will be a few of the epic grey knights too. Maybe possibly if they can get there act together in time they may be able to take a couple of the new 40K imperial fort.

The following won\'t be there.....
Marine codex, marine army deal, special characters for the marines.

Thats all I can fink of at the moment.....

the manhide models were done by fitz when still with gw, but they trefused to release them for all kinds of silly reasons...i think they might have been digging through the archives again...

Not for sale but...

I know the Ogre Kingdoms stuff isn\'t due for release \'til December but I\'m looking forward to seeing this up-close and personal seeing as how they\'ve put so much time into it...

think the warmachine (really good stuff, not the problem) \"exo armoured\" models are \"terminator-like\" and not the contrary ;)

Well that took me to the pile of pants that is the GW website....

I looked in 40K and couldn\'t see any \'sneak peaks\' in fact I wasted ten minutes of my life trying to find this Lysander guy...still failed...

I would persevere, but there is some paint drying on my wall and it seems to have caught my attention;)

*EDIT* just found something on a google image search..is he a flying terminator....with wings etc??
