Games Influencing Dreams?

I\'ve had dreams in the past that were influenced directly by roleplaying games. In 1979, my mother barred me from playing AD&D because of my ADD ;) and the fact that I was obsessed with this fantasy world at the expense of having a grade point average. I must have gone into some kind of withdrawal, because I had very involved dreams about being a wizard fighting evil with the aid of a twenty-foot long Praying Mantis. In the dream I had these really cool robes.

About ten years ago, I had really detailed and intense dreams about being a vampire and this was from just looking at the illustrations in the White Wolf Vampire Books without having played yet.

Now before you think I\'m crazy, let me tell you that technically, I am, but I\'m aware of it, so this isn\'t some kind of delusion. I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences. I have also used dreams as a source for adventures.

If I play a video game like Half-Life or Quake too much, I have \"FPS dreams\" where I\'m running through endless corridors...

I don\'t remember any game related dreams, myself.
But I do have some really strange ones.

I\'d tell you about them, but it\'d take a long time.
The ones I remember, I remember in extremely vivid detail.

My wife has had long, vivid dreams and she\'ll tell me about them in great detail. About halfway through, I get wrapped up in the story and forget that it\'s a dream and think she\'s telling me about a book or anime that she\'s seen. Really vivid dreams can be a symptom of bipolar disorder, something Hieronymrs and I both have. :(lol:(lol:(lol:(lol:(lol She gets intense migraines, too, a couple times a week.
