Anyone ever done this? Some details on the format would be good to if anyone can offer some sort of overview of it. I wouldnt mind having a go next year as well as the Golden Demon.

Hi there DFB. I can't see anything on the website for this years UK GD that there will be an art competition. It may be that with the smaller venue they won't have the space for it.

If they do manage to squeeze it in I found the guidelines for the 2011 competition here :

There is normally a few different age groups to separate people out and give the youngsters a chance at winning something. They give out 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age group and then there is the big prize - normally printed artwork - for the overall winner.

Well, seems better in the UK then. Nobody realy cares at the German Games Day. I took part in the art competition for fun this year but there where hardly any entries. Not the most popular contest, and the winner only got some piece of paper.

It's not something I ever gave a lot of consideration to.
Mostly it always seemed to be thought of as "Kindergarden and crayons" by people I spoke to, but they could just be 'Jaded old hacks' like me.:curl-lip:
