hello all
I was reading the gamex con rules for the miniature painting contest but it doesn\'t say what you get as prize for wining??

anyone have a clue what it is? i saw ribbons been place by the models stating what place there in ?

Cake or Death?
Historically \"Best in Show\" has netted the winner anywhere from $5 dealer dollars to $50 cash and some prizes. When I was competing there about three years ago, I usually took home about $30 dealer dollars from two or three categories. When I was judging the competition a year later, we gave away a little more than that.

Dealer dollars = money to spend in the Dealer\'s Hall or at the auction. For Orccon (the con run by the same people but over President\'s day weekend) they also had prize support from GW and Reaper for the best painted models from those companies.
