Gamezone miniatures...

I really like some of the gamezone miniatures I\'ve seen around here, particularly those in their feudal knights range.

Any suggestions as to an online supplier I can buy them from in the US?

Anyone have any experience with gamezone minis? What\'s their story?

I may just do that. I\'ve used fantization many times before and have found them to be a reliable group. Don\'t know how I missed the section on the website that sells \'em. :duh:

What was your experience with the minis? Are they pretty strong quality?

the quality is excellent only two problems I had to deal with

1.. finding and cleaning all the mold lines is going to take time and lots are hidden in the details.

2.. I ordered one with a horse and there is no kind of tab to mount it on the base..which is just a clear plastic slotted base. So I have to pin a couple of hoofs and they are very delicate so be careful drilling holes.

I bought mine direct from gamezone. I love the sculpts but like Donna said, the mold lines are a bitch and there are hefty gaps in some of the joins. Worth the effort to clean them up though. I think the scene I\'m doing with mine will be fairly impressive. No hints on it though. It\'s for a contest.

Sculpts are great. Often more dynamic then their GW counterparts and a high level of detail. However the casts vary from OK to pretty bad. For showcase work they need a lot of prepping.

Wren, I appreciate the referral to FRP...they seem to have what I\'m looking for. I take if you\'ve found them pretty reliable to work with?

I\'ve never heard of them before.

I think I\'ve ordered from them before, but I\'m not 100% certain. (I\'m forgetful, and have tried to reduce my purchasing a smidge the past year or so.) I\'ve had them recommended from other people and don\'t recall hearing anything negative about them, but you could do another thread asking for feedback on them if you wanted to be surer before ordering?
