A female Sparrow Hawk firstly perched on our fence and then later makes a kill.

Unlike last years male counterpart she was very 'nervy' and took off after only a few minutes with her kill.

Birds of prey are some of the most beautiful creatures, your lucky to see up close.
I've got a family of robins living close by :)

Ooooh! Lovely photos! I've always wanted to get decent pictures of birds of prey, but have never really had the chance. It looks like you not only had the chance but took full advantage of it! Really beautiful pictures - well done :)

Great photos. Unfortunatly when I see birds of prey they are ussually eyeing up my baby chickens.
