Gargantuan Orcus - WotC repaint -- how to remove the wings/arm

Going to repaint this model and rebase him, however, it will be easier if i can remove the wings and the right arm before i prime him.

Has anyone done this? what type of solvent to use to dissolve the glue on the DDMs?

My last resort will be to just cut them off, pin them back and resculpt whatever damage as needed...

Plastic figure Sanjay? If so I doubt a solvent is an option as something that would soften a glue I'm sure would be strong enough to attack the plastic.

Have you tried giving the wings a quick jerk straight outwards? That might snap a glue join if you're lucky.

The quick jerk seems good. Although I'd be in favor of a more controlled cutting, repinning, resculpting for better precision.
