Dark...WOW!!!

You have to bring that down to the Batcave as soon as its done...

(Im from Blackburn too...:D)

But on the subject of next year...I\'m spending the next 6 months practicing on 3 separate armies (Black Templars, Wood Elves, Rohan) with the odd model I just like the look of thrown in, such as the Dwarf Noble, and the Warg Chieftain, and then I\'m starting on my GD stuff...my first ever!

I want to share my ideas, but I\'m afraid someone with much more talent than me will steal them, and do them far better than i ever could... ;) :(

Of course blackburn exists, its the tea bag town, perforated with 4000 holes! (do any of you from blackburn know what John Lennon was referring to with that lyric? its always puzzled me!)

In respect to demons, I am just finishong pieces I never got round to doing this year and seeing if any ideas stew. Definatley gonna get my duel done and may concentrate on squads as they are always less populated than single.

Some of the larger scale bits were cool too and I may even attempt my first 54mm!

I also have a very cool idea for the open involving a dwarf hall and 32 models and will be chuffed if I actually pull this off and have this is my only entry

I am starting on a few minis for GD now. This will be my first entry in a GD competition and I hope that I\'ll do well.

Just for some ideas, do some mini\'s have a better chance than others? For example, does a space marine model have a better chance of winning than say an IG model, (both minis would be painted to the same technique and scale)?

What helps boost a mini to becoming a winner? Obviously painting, but what else...conversions? theme? ...etc.???

A lot of people feel that the newer stuff gets favoured. Possibly because it is easier to be fresh. The judges will have been there seen that with regards to almost everything and it is a lot harder to come up with something they wont have seen before.

Basing. The base is as important part as the figure is.
