Hey everybody. Just thought I would share a few pictures with you form yesterday\'s GD Atlanta.
Five of us walked away with Demons yesterday.

Sure everyone looks happy, but I can sense the underlying dissappointment from the guys that RedDawn\'s not wearing that black leather outfit.

Had a great time!

Well, I personally had a great time and met some really awesome people! I look forward to seeing everyone next year, if not sooner!

I just have to say, though, that I really surprised myself; one - I picked up a mini and painted for the first time. Granted, it was one of the paint-and-takes, but I still had fun! two - I picked the Slayer entry as my favorite!!! I didn\'t realize it until this morning when I saw the wonderful pictures Maxxim took and posted. I guess my eye isn\'t as bad as I thought it was! Anyway, that gives me hope that I might actually be able to do this \"painting\" thing! lol

Anyway, I really hope that everyone that came this year will make it back, and that some of you who weren\'t there will make it next year! I\'m thinking we order take-out and have a party on the screened-in-porch at our house next year - so plan on staying over Sat. night you out-of-towners!

Duende - I doubt that! I don\'t think I could compete with all the awesome minis that were there! (Maybe if I\'d been standing next to the 40K Vehicle category - not that good this year. :( )

I like to think that we here at the CMON forums had alot to do with their success.

Just because its not true doesn\'t mean I don\'t like to think that.;)

Seriously- I wish I lived close to one of those major deal conventions of any kind. Edmonton has ZIP, nadda, and is in the middle of nowhere. I would be fun to run into the crew at one or two of those. Soon my little one will be a bigger little one and then we cna find an excuse to travel.

I won one too.

It seems I am always late. I missed the thread prior to GD about meeting and I missed this one just after. I won Gold in the 40K Vehicle category. I don\'t have a good digicam yet so you\'ll have to look at the pix on GW\'s US website. Mine is the SOB Exorcist. Sorry about the lack of pix. I have a ton of mini\'s to post when I get my grubby hands on a camera.

Congratulation guys. I needed this thread when a guy claimed CMONers use photoshop to touch up their pics. :mad:
