As we approach the date, I thought it might be appropriate to compile a listing of who is going to attend the first Games Day of the season.

So, who, besides me, is planning to be there?

Seriously, I heard \"mace\" somewhere, but it could\'ve been a rumour.

There\'s a couple of us from Illinois definitely coming down. But Darth, you think we\'ll be disadvantaged because we\'re \"yankees?\"

Actually, down here it\'s all Coke - no matter what you actually are drinking. But a beer would suit me better anyway - we\'ll make a pub run.

As for hotels, there are several on the road where the convention center is located - IIRC there is a Sheraton literally next door. I\'d say give the convention center a call and they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Anybody else going to be there - currently on the MasterClass yahoo list we have a get together scheduled - meet up at the Pre-Release Display between 11:45 and noon.

Any early news on Golden Demon results from Atlanta? Whoever was there, get results and pictures up as soon as possible. The world needs to know.lol

I wasn\'t able to stay for the awards presentation as my wife was ill, but I can say that 40K Squad was won by Troy Clifton with a beautiful Thousand Sons group. Battle scene went to Joe Orteza, with Troy also taking a Silver from that category.

I did not accomplish my dream of first cut - so on to next year\'s projects I begin to ponder.
