Well the demon lounge is as good a place as any to meet and hang out...maybe we can post an official time for everyone to meet when it gets a little closer. Maybe go to lunch or something.:D N cry over how bad our entries turned out compared to everyone elses!!:( At least thats what I do!!

My dad will be with me this year (my family is in No. VA) so we could do dinner with people on Saturday night as long as its right after the convention. But Baltimore is 2 hours away from his house so we wouldn\'t be around Friday night

If I have to work it (which is seeming less and less likely), then I wouldn\'t be out to catch up with anyone till after break down. But if I\'m just coming as a geek, then I have NO schedule and can do whatever! I only live 20 mins north of the Convention Center... :)

Edgar\'s is definitely the easiest place to go eat after Games Day. It\'s, literally, RIGHT there... And 15-year-olds can come, too, I believe. They can\'t sit at the bar, obviously... But they are more than welcome to eat there, as far as I know. At least up until 9 or 10pm.

Now I\'m kinda hoping they *don\'t* want me to work the show... I *really* need to get cracking on my Bretonnians!! lol But I do miss working the event.

I really hope you make it this year sweetie! (I\'m so surprised you still have my finalist pin!).

And for Edgar\'s, that\'s where I\'ll be post Games Day...it so easy to get to and big enough to accommodate a massive geek takeover.
I\'m really looking forward to this year, but not enough to have anything finished yet for the demons...I\'m such a painting slack-a$$.

Sounds like Edgars is the place for Saturday night fun!!! Does 7:00 give everyone time to get cleaned up or should we just go right from the show?? I guess it really doesn\'t matter when exactally it starts...as it will probably go late anyways!! Maybe we can have a contest of who can paint the best picture on a piece of toast using only jelly and butter?!?!?! You know, a little extreme painting to help settle us down after the stress of the show!


...and dirty...I\'ll be there in my fishnet stockings!!! Doh!!!lol

So it\'s official. I\'m *not* working the event. Sweet! So how much room is there in the Lounge to spread out all my crap and just paint all day...? I don\'t wanna be in the way of classes and stuff... And I need some space for Jess and me to cuddle.... :D

Actually, Jess... I may ask some advice from you about freehand painting. When you\'re not busy and stuff. And when we\'re not cuddling, of course. Because Cuddle Time is WAY too important to be disturbed by something as trivial as painting!! ;)

Yeah, that was pretty disturbing!!

There should be plenty of room for you to hang out and paint at the lounge...just don\'t be surprised if you have a constant stream of people stopping by and asking you questions:D Ha ha

Oh really... May be I\'ll bring my gear too. I don\'t mind questions. I get tons of them anyway in my local GW.

As for for beer afterwards... I need to think about it. I will be driving bunch o\' kids from NYC. Most likely then not they will want to get back after the event :)

Sure, Aaron... but I think most of the people here have it pretty much down to a science. And prolly have better gear than the set-up I had at GW! lol

I can certainly tell someone how to make a decent set-up with what they have.

Just a general question for the Demon Lounge folk... What time will all of you be getting to the Convention Center in the morning?

I\'m still debating on whether to get there before or after lunch...

Oh and dirty...I\'m sure you can teach me plenty about photo taking. If there is anything I have learned from years of frustrated painting, its that there is always more to learn. It would be cool just to see how you approach photographing a mini...and maybe a quick overview of camera settings and such. I need to get back to painting now so that I at least have an entry!!! I have been working on mine since Christmas and it looks like one of my kids took a turd on it:( Oh well!!!!

Still not sure if I\'m gonna be there at the opening of the event. I\'ll hafta see.
