Just a heads up, the O\'s have a game against the Yankees that night (starts at 7:05pm) so it may be crowded at the Wharf Rat (or they may all clear out to the game), so...

I think some of us ex-staffers maybe heading to Fells Point, possibly the Wharf Rat there.

See some of you on Saturday, Aaron, do you still have any room in the Lounge?

Cheers
Dave

Hey Dave!! :D

Hmm... Orioles game against the Yankees...? Yikes... Yeah, the Wharf Rat could possibly be VERY crowded... And Fell\'s Point would require a cab or about half an hour of walking.

Any other suggestions, anyone, just to keep our options open?

Just got into VA. Getting my son settled at my sister\'s place. =)

Really looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. I managed to finish my entry (one... not the four I had planned) and I\'m also looking forward to getting more than 4 hours of sleep for a while.

Stoked about Games Day!

Definitely bring your paints and brushes!! Even though I won\'t be able to sit down and paint and have fun like that, I think you definitely should! And if you don\'t think you\'ll have time to paint, you can always check your cases and bags and stuff at the Bag Check area so you don\'t have to haul it all around. Make sure you come by the Golden Demon area and say hi!! I can\'t wait to see your entry!!

Are you gonna stick around a while after the event?

So i finally found someone to work for me the day before the convention!!
I\'ll be most likely sitting in front of meg at the demon lounge and talking to her dad again (Hes a cool guy who likes crossbows!).

I\'m torn as to whether or not i want to enter anything. I have a dwarf army i won my first local contest with that i could steal a few models from but i don\'t think my painting is gonna stand a chance yet.

But i\'ll look forward to seeing you all there!

From what I remember last year in Baltimore, the judges brought a little flip-up Ott Lite, just like the one on my painting table. They would take the first-cut models under it to figure out the first through third place winners.

It\'s a GREAT white light. If you don\'t paint with one, I highly recommend it.

Is that what they were using today? I want one!
