Tough one also for the Polish :(.

Great to see that the German Team is coming. My bets are on Joshua to get a demon; it\'s been too long since the man deserved some decent recognition ;).
thanks for that line man, im flatterned :D
but i wont be able to enter anything because the french gd is only a few days after my written exams with kept me busy for the last few weeks/moths
im still going to meet some people and support my team (carry their boxes etc ... and because i\'ve already payed for the ticket :D)
but my work for my GD germany project will soon proceed (i hope ... ^^)
+
and my bet for ther sword is on Kirill because he\'s innovative and skillfull and a very nice person :)
(plus he wont travel from rus to fra just to look at other miniatures;))

Good luck all! :D

As with GDLA, I demand photos shortly after you see the entries! ;)

You know, when it comes to GD France, I\'m just as interested in the ones that don\'t get trophies as the ones that do.

It\'s sunday, isn\'t it though?
Yes it is :).

I\'ll be taking plenty of pics ... but like every year they should be quite blurry :p. I\'ll post when I come home.

Good luck to all those who are entering GD FR.

Good luck for GD LA Eric!

Here\'s a little report of what I saw during the week-end :

Saturday :

*) Jérémie and David (Satanas) organised for some of us a visit to the Star Wars Exposition at the Cité des Sciences.

*) On our way to Star Player we did a bit of site seeing.

*) We then had dinner in a very nice restaurant but I was too busy to take pictures. The french, german, and spanish teams were there (great people) and Sanjay and Shilpa showed up later to have drinks.

Sunday :

*) Met up again with Sanjay and Shilpa (congratulations to both of you ;)) at GD FR.

*) Had a look at the tables and dioramas.

*) Did some speed painting with Sanjay and Shilpa (Sanjay has pics of Shilpa\'s first mini ;)).

*) Took some pictures of the entries. Didn\'t take much because I had seen most of them Saturday, but Sanjay took a bunch of pics and other people should post shortly.

Sorry for those who were expecting more precise info but Sanjay was the camera man that day.

Wow, those are spectacular. My favorite is definitely Kirill\'s, no offense anyone, they are all unbelievable. The NMM on Kirill\'s dreadnought is so realistic!

Some more pictures can be seen >> here <<. The first were taken at Star Player and are minis that won in other european GDs. Then some were taken at the restaurant. And finally are some other minis that were at GD FR.

hey all

thank you thank you Cedric :)

He didn\'t mention it in the forum post above, but he really didn\'t forget sat night at the gathering of painters...(so embarrasing!!!)

I proposed to the lovely Shilpa at the gardens of Versaille palace April 8th afternoon. We had dinner later that evening (she said YES!!!!) and then after all that, we met up with Cedric et al. (pics of us 2 and the ring, etc will be posted later :D ) Cedric then tells Jeremie...who takes us into the larger room where the spanish team, italian (I believe!) and all were sitting and in french tells everyone (man, Jeremie can speak very loudly and really grab people\'s attention!!!). Shilpa was so embarrased from the cheers that followed. THe spanish team then began their chanting of \"kisses\" which I failed to understand, and Cedric translated the english to english for me ... hehehe (then Shilps kissed me). Jeremie later came around with a vodka bottle that the Spanish team had uhm...brought with \'em...

Thanks to everyone for their congratulations (it was nice meeting you again Fernando (Nano) although I did forget to take photographs of all the teams that were there that night :( (Shilpa grabbed too much of my attention).

About pics, I will probably post them next week when I am back from UK... but if I can, will post some during the week.

I am having problems finding links to the slayer winners of Paris and LA...anyone know when demonwinner.fr will be updated? :)

Thanks again everyone.

Oh, the works of art saturday night and the stuff that was at Paris GD the following day were phenomenal.

Sanjay (with Shilps looking over my shoulder)

I\'ve got to say, competition asside, this sounds like a ton of fun to go to. Then add in the artwork!

I\'m saving my money to go, and maybe in another year or two I can get together the Americas team to join in the fun! :D

Okay, who did the blue dreadnought with the intense weathering and flawless NMM assault cannon? Cause that one is definitely a gorgeous piece of work and likely my favourite.
