GD France Rules and categories posted

I see they have finally posted the rules and categories for this years Games Day Dolden demon France.

Rules

Categories

These are in English they are on the site in French as well.

I find it interesting that they combine both Warhammer fantasy and 40K in 3 of the categories. Well actually more but Im speaking of Categories 4,5 and 6 to be specific.

Also note there is no referance to multiple person entries like in the US rules.

On the subject of conversions vrs scratchbuilt does a piece that has maybe one small GW part in the model keep it as a conversion instead of a scratch built?

I wonder what seperates the two?

Since I\'m going, I now need to get REALLY busy.

well they don\'t mince their words about exploiting the photo\'s do they? !!!

Also not sure where I stand on my thoughts about previous sword winners only allowed one entry to the whole competition. Can see the advantage to others but still seems a bit harsh!

yeah, that is pretty harsh and that they are starting to combine categories so there will be even less chance for a demon and not as many pretty models in WD. I hope that trend doesn\'t spill over into the US ones:(

They can exploit the photos! lol, win a demon and you become GW\'s sweatshop bitch!

The youngbloods is 15 not 14? Is this a new change worldwide, or just in the French GD?

i think the french gd is looking better for painters and sculpters.

and by making it harder for sword winners, they will encourage more people to have a proper go.

it looks like the best set out (rules wise) so far.

hope gwuk does something similar, i may go if that\'s the case.

Matty: It says under 15... basically if you are 15 you are not under 15... get it? lol

The rules do seem a bit harsh... especially the category mix up deal ???... I guess they ran out of money when making the trophies and only have enough for what has been posted. Glad I am not going to that one...
