I was there too. Unfortunately I failed to finish anything in time :( Still had a great time meeting with Mordred and Trovarion (who took silver in 40K single - Congrats again :) ).

Goatman won Gold both in Warhammer Monster and Inquisitor/Large Scale miniature. He also took Silver in Lord of the Rings. Fredy got three demons too. Banshee\'s Imperial Guardsman (an amazing miniature  ) won Gold in 40K Single. Oh, and the Sword again went to the French - Axel Morenschildt won the Sword with a truly amazing Kroot Diorama.

Congratulations to all the winners :)

I will be uploading a coverage with lots of pictures on ElectricOcean within the week.

goatman won 2 gold 1 silver, just GREAT, his ][ orc and the rhinox were flawless (okactually i saw ONE little spot on the neck of the orc where 0.3mm of metallic paint hits the skin, sorry sascha, cant keep my mouth shut :( )

yeah i guess this was a gift from my lil´accident with metallic pigments in painting water ... have to remember, change water before applying a coat of matte medium on the mini to avoid lots of metallic spots on the surface which can´t be removed after it dried ... costed me 2 days to repair everything. Must have missed this area :D

That´s why NMM is better then metallics, you don´t have to change the painting water ... never :D

Ha, I knew that rhinox would win that category, congrats goatman!

Holger, I can\'t remember seeing that flying ringwraith monster, where did they put it? On the top shelf where only 2 meter giants could see it?

Anyone know if that night goblin/bretonian knight/spellcast duel thing won anything?

Congrats to everyone who picked a demon or was a finalist, banshee i\'m glad to hear you guardsman picked up a demon, its one of my favorite models and it\'s good to see its true quality was recognised, anyone have pictures of axel de mohrenschildt\'s entry, was it the moving kroot diorama (kroot praying), or a different one. cheers again

Some very nice looking stuff for sure. Plenty of very moody and evocative winners. All in all it looks like a really high standard. I\'m especially digging the colour palette on the Open winner, but the third place in the same category is rather confusing. Is it carved?

The rat bust? It\'s made of wood, at least that\'s what it looked like. Rather a large thing that one. I think it\'s cool, it won a prize just because it\'s so very different from the rest. But that\'s why they call it OPEN category, right?

I\'m slightly dissapointed my favourite piece didn\'t win anything. *miffed*
But congrats to everyone else!
