damn eric, im starting to not want to check this thread, every time you say something bout putting 60-70 hours into your mini my stomach just seems to slam up against me heart. Lol kinda like enjoying a coaster then realizing there is a 400 foot vert drop about 10 feet infront of you lol
Well i guess i had better just get back to working my ass off on my entrys lol.
But yeah, 11 at the open sounds cool, hopefully you\'ll be able to spot mine right off the bat

I\'ll be there too I\'m flying in the day before and I\'ll be stuck there, so i plan to socialize the day before and the day of if possible.

Adam\'s right, the longer this thread goes, the more I wonder if I should even go (though I think Adam will be a front runner too). With Adam, Vincent and Eric, and I\'m guessing Tim Holly wil be there too, it should be a good show. 40K squad certainly will be a fight.I\'ll be there and will look for y\'all too.

YAY!! Amy will be there!! You\'d BETTER come and see me at Golden Demon! Cassie will be there, too, and i KNOW she\'d love to see you! Hmm...we\'ll be at the Quality Inn on N. Vineyard (close to where we were last year...just farther down the street, i think). We\'ll be doing set-up at the Convention Center on Friday, and then i have no idea what we\'ll be doing that night. Email me at work by Thursday, and we\'ll see about getting together and doing something Friday night!
Hah, 40k squad is by far my weakest entry, and by the sounds of it, I might want to fix them up hold them for another event! (ok, I may also be saying that rationalizing the fact that I really need to give their basing a major overhaul and I\'m not real motivated to do that!)
Anyway, looks like it will be fun competition to watch!

I will not tell you the amount of hour I have spent also. Some people are just slow painters. Your stuff will do just fine how many golds again last year, yeah that is what I thought.
@ericj glad to hear you are finishing I hope the cold has not slowed you down too much.
@silphid what is it like to be done already I am still stessing the idea of even finishing. arrrg!!!

But what matters is the effort put in and the results in my opinion. Talented people pull it off a lot faster than me that\'s all.

i will be at the LA battle bunker thursday night, and most likely friday night too. (if anyone wants to meet up there)
I\'m just working on my plans now too, and it looks like I\'m rolling into town Friday afternoon and should be in lovely Ontario Friday night as well (I thought I was going to be off in the desert visiting friends, but they\'re coming to me instead). If there is anything going on friday, I\'m up for it Otherwise I\'ll probably be with friends drinking, or franticly painting, depending on how the next couple days go.
But it looks like I didn\'t get slowed down too much by my cold, I\'m in the touching up and basing stages now, so pretty much on schedule.

me and the owner of warboss games (the biggest and best retailer in AZ ) will be at the Battle bunker friday afternoon/evening. In addition to a few friends too. If anyone shows up then, give me a shout, as i will be wanting to chat about paints and stuff.

the battle bunker is in westminister I believe. we are friends with the manager there, so thats one reason why were heading over there.

I finished my mini monday and It\'s already for the competition!
I am taking today off to finish. And I think that I will be pulling an all nighter also Friday night. I hate doing that becuase I am a zombie the next day. Oh, well no pain no gain. I might miss you guys at 11:00 because they changed the rouge trader times. The first game ends at 11:30. So I will either chatch you around the demon area or at In and Out.
