Great sculpt, I\'d prefer to see hair, but that\'s just me, I like the \'tough chick with nice hair\' look. :drunk:

1mm copper armature with mainly Sylmasta Magic Sculpt.

A bit of green stuff for the fidly bits and for contrast. Brown stuff on the rifle.

Base is aluminium tube & mesh, plastic girders, fuse wire, GW bits, sand, and woodland scenics water effect.

Great stuff! I remember seeing this on the screens, really really cool sculpt, and the paintjob is great too :D My only nitpick is where the tube enters her arm; it looks a little \"chalky\". Otherwise, it\'s very cool and the camo pattern is awesome :D Congrats on getting through to the finals.

Cheers

thanks LouW! i was afraid it was fimo but very happy that it\'s magic sculpt.

i have a heap of it and think it\'s great stuff but not seeing many other sculpters use it has stopped me from doing more with it.

This model was gorgeous, and i think deserved more than jus a finalist sticker. But well done none the less.
My personal favourite part of this model, other than sculpt was definately the camo :)
Also, out of curiosity, what was the first sulpting medium you ever toyed with, as ive bin trying a few lately, and am finding it hard to decide upon which to use?
finally, VERY VERY nice sculpt, cant wait to see what u do next:D

As i said you, you\'re improving incredibly well and your sculpture is beautiful!

Now i want to see your next work...!!! :)

Thanks for the +ve comments. Now I\'m starting to feel the pressure!

@monkeyman7x: the first putty I tried was standard milliput. Of all the putties I would recommend sylmasta magic sculp because you can both shape soft putty or carve hardened putty equally well.

@monkeyman7x

\"so, any plans for your next sculpt??
(sorry if i seem nosey, im just very curious)\"

...thats like asking a woman her age or someone their wage!

JJ:D I have no idea what I will be doing next but if you check out Nano, JRN & Vincenti\'s winning entries in this category u\'ll see I got some work to do.

I usually change scale at this point to keep me on my toes so I will probably try a conversion rather than build and have another try with GS.
