I too am waiting patiently to see the pics. (Do we even get a book(let) here in the US for UK comps?)

I was curious if anyone knows the CMON names for the other two winners in the open catagory? If they have them. I have yellow one, but I REALLY want to see what could possibly beat that.

Thanks... but it looks like he has not posted on CMON for two years - lol. But it did lead to slaves to paint, unfortunetly they are not there yet either. Well \'they\' do say patience is a virtue... but I am too curious to be virtuous today - ahhaah.

Edit: My brain must be in limbo. I just had a link somewhere with the Titan in multiple shots, nice clean pictures, and now I can\'t find that either - ahahah

Hello

Just a quick note to tell you folks what we’re doing with the fantastic Golden Demon pictures we took on the day. Some of you will have noticed the selection of finalist pictures we managed to take on the day. We also have the winning entries on file too. We’ll be publishing online the winning miniatures of the Slayer Sword winner and a photo from each of the categories to whet your appetite!

Every year we invite all the winners back to Games Workshop HQ here in Nottingham for a VIP day and also to take further amazing pictures of their models in our photography studio and interview them. After this we compile all the images we have, including different angle shots, hot tips and other models from winning entries collections, and make the Golden Demon feature – which this year will be FREE with White Dwarf! After this White Dwarf has come out we’ll then publish the rest of the winners on the website.

We see Golden Demon as the pinnacle of the painting side of the hobby, and White Dwarf is the place to show this off to the best affect. A place to celebrate these amazing creations. We want to give these models the respect and awe they deserve, and the hallowed pages of Grimbrindal’s tome are the place to do this first and foremost.

Watch out for those winning models on the site soon!

Well considering the invite to GWHQ insn\'t until December 8th, and these things take up to 3 months to be published, we are going to have to be very, very patient.

well, the dwarf normally doesn\'t see the light of day untill februari.march time... having said that, I don;t think a lot of the winners will get proper pictures taken, due to the travel costs involved to go to HQ...as one of them said: they have stopped giving out the gift vouchers as prizes when you come, so what\'s the point in spending over £100 on a plain ticket, just to get images taken you\'re not even allowed to use on your own website...

Having said that, I will defenitely be there again next year, and this time properly...:S i mean, lasdt year i didn\'t even enter, this year i only managed to enter with my secondary entry, so next year is the \'real\' one...I\'ve already started, doing tewn hours a week on entries....

I\'m extremely pleased GW are going back to giving the GD booklet away with WD. Last year\'s £6 booklet really annoyed me

You wouldn\'t want to run into him in a dark alley.... certainly not wielding that sword.

A very worthy winner though.

Yup - Mike Anderson is Babylonia... but he has been lax getting me any new pics for something like 2 years now... Apparently i should get a cd of them soon and get them all up here and/or the new slavetopaint site (when i finally finish it).

I must admit I am suprised bu the results. I though one of their utterly crap Ogre minis might have placed higher, even winning the sword:|~
