I live between Leamington Spa & Warwick.
So could take a census on this thread to see:
a) who is interested in a meet
b) who is driving for pick ups etc
c) agree where to meet

Cheers

Hiya Neil,

I only live in Coventry, which is in spitting distance from you so would be able and love to meet up with some CMONers on the Saturday!

Just keep us posted where and when matey! I don\'t drive yet so will be relying on public transport.

So a shandy on sunday is all I can manage. :(

Haha that one put me out of a bad mood :)

I emailed GW about their old entry forms and 2006\'s all over their catergory info last night, got a reply this morning saying its all up to date now. All catergories are the same as last year but restrictions have been reiterrated. :)

Squig

There should be no problems as most pubs/bars are ok with underage people as long as they are with adults, besides we have got to work out a good meeting place yet. Where are you based?

Cheers

AT LAST!!!!!

A bit of clarification on joint entries!!!

All entries must be personally handed in by their creator and registered at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham , on the 23th September 2007. We will not accept any entries on behalf of competitors who are not in attendance at the event. All entries must be collected from the show stands at specified times by the entrant in person. These times will be published in the Games Day programme and will be announced over the PA system on the day. All models should be the work of a single hobbyist. All work on models entered into the Golden Demon ? including but not limited to painting, modelling, converting, after-market sculpting, and basing ? must be performed entirely by the entrant. Neither models obtained from someone else in any state of completion nor collaborative efforts may be entered. Anyone found violating this rule will be immediately disqualified and forbidden from entering future Golden Demon painting competitions.

Woo Hoo!!

If were gonna meet up we need to find somewhere thats easy and convenient for people to get to.

What we could do is make a list of who wants to go and where they live.

I\'m obviously up for it and Live in Birmingham.

hmm. About \"personally handed in\"...

Well listen to this. Our storemanager got the word from GW that he could bring any entrant from our store that wished to enter (he won\'t afaik). Maybe it\'s because we don\'t have a GD of our own? I suppose the same was for the russian guy that entered lotr last year. So don\'t be surprised if it happens is all I\'m saying...

The communication might not be the best between different parts of the company? Those rules seem very clear. :)

Hey what about us married ones?

Sorry couldn\'t really resist that one.

It does make a clarification of what GW has allowed to become an unclear area of the rules.

Its about time they have clarified those rules, I think it was it abit unfair to have joint enties in the past years because its like have the best of both hobbyists skills in one model. Any one further on their entries? I am about to order my miniatures display base :)
