A close friend (also Gw staff) of mine assures me more than likely there will be a good deal of high elf mini\'s, and the army box. The programme does only show a little though. In terms of apocolypse im not actually to bothered about unless there are some really nice character models, the kids with baneblades will be annoying, a flamer may be useful to deal with them :D hope to see some really good entries and looking forward to maybe seeing a cmon member grabbing a statue, i unfortunately cant enter as i already said

Well i\'v got my figure done. 40k Single. Now just his display base to finish off for him to be displayed on. But if I don\'t get that finished I\'v still got an entry.

Hey Matty, look forward to meeting you there and seeing your entry :) I\'ve finally finished touching up my Priest (no! Not like that!), but my duel entry will have to remain unfinished I think.

I\'m only entering 40K single, its a rework of my Death Korps Commander. I don\'t think it\'s GD material but I have put alot of hour\'s into it so I\'m pretty pleased with it.
But if I get the base done it should be pretty cool.

I am working on other comp stuff, but it\'s not GW so it is all for the Salon De Jue in Paris a couple of weeks after.

I\'m sure your mini will do you proud Matty - I once entered a load of epic eldar... I was so pleased just to see them in the display knowing I was there in the thick of it.

Definately want to see those in the flesh... :drool:

I can\'t bring much from my collection though, because of limitations in space as I\'m bringing several of my own. Hm. But maybe I can fit one or two in. :)

Well, i\'m bringing all I can... maybe even some of my painting so you can have a laugh lol

I may have one more new one by then but I don\'t want to be premature.

I\'d love to see yours... the bottom line for me is that I just love interesting minis, don\'t care who painted them or cast them or sculpted them or owns them.

I should hopefully be getting an Alex Holmen piece in a few days ( :bouncy: ) so il bring that down. Plus a few of mine.

I feel so pants that I\'m not going to have an entry done. Why can I not just focus on getting at least one mini finished? It\'s truly pathetic!

If GD could be won on the amount of ideas people have for entries I know I\'d be in with a shout, but until then I fear I will always disappoint myself.

So yeah, I\'ll be there, but I won\'t have any models to show people. I\'ve not done anything to a standard I\'m happy with for far too long. :(

Well I had the freakiesd Games day dream last night, I think the competition is getting to me!

I had dreamed that I had finished my entry, then my younger brother had got a syringe full of the 2 part clear resin I was using and squirted it right at my mini, turning it into a big blob of fleshy coloured indistinguishable gloop, melting away all the freehand and the layers of skintones!!!

I was fuming, and \'told on him\' to my mum (although I don\'t know why as I havent lived at home for 5 years now!) and all she said, was, \'its only a little man, we can get you another one\'.

I then woke up at 4am (slightly hungover as Coventry won last night and are top of the league by a point and not just alphabetically!) and I was convinced it was the Gamesday sunday! I first thought, Shit! I need to finish my entry, and then I thought SHIT!!! I HAVEN\'T MET MATTY AT THE TRAIN STATION!!!!!!!!! I got some clothes on in record time (superman in a phonebooth would have been proud!) and then went to log onto CMON to get Mattys number and apologise like I have never apologised before.

Its at this point that I realised that the competition isn\'t for two weeks!

So is anyone else feeling the pressure?

You know what, I actually had a pretty similar dream the other night. I was convinced that I had forgot to go to GD, and I woke up all panicky and it took me a while to remember that it hadn\'t taken place yet. Weird.

I can\'t be arsed to do anything with my duel entry still, it\'s never going to be painted in time. It\'s a shame because I would have liked to enter an adult category this year, but I had too many other things to do and lacked the motivation really. If I manage to win anything in YB this year (unlikely) I won\'t be able to go to GD winners\' day because I\'ll be in Sicily, so that takes off some pressure :D

Don\'t say that, you scared the crap out of me.

I am so far from being finished its a joke.

Other problems

1. My display base has gone rubbish.
2. I have started painting something else for GD and not touched my main entry for weeks.
3. Been on holiday for a week, so nothing has been done, wife refused to let me take minis with me. :(
4. SOMEBODY! sent me a link that got me all hot and bothered and I can no longer concentrate on GW.. you know who you are. :)
5. I still have to make something to carry my entry and some other minis in.
6. Oh and I am a worrying old git.

Good luck to allin getting your entries finished. Just stay out of my category and I will be a happy man.
