well they cant expect every one to get a copy of the updated entry form from white dwarf because not every one buys it (it has not been the same since fat guy left..:() so they\'ll have to upload it eventually..

as for my entry, i was relying on my stuff arriving today as i will be in scotland over the next 3 days and wont be here to take it tommorow, and am not keen on paying the post office extra to collect it. is any one as behind with their entry as me? :p

i know it was abit early last time i asked, but what are we doing for a big meet up this year?

Yep I am :D I have been sat on my butt looking at the bits for ages and not looking forward to the sculpting part of it, that plus work has been a bit hectic so I only started cleaning up bits this morning for my Diorama entry of 4 figures.

I still have to decide what I want to do for the WHFB single figure yet, foot or mounted. I was looking at a 40K entry as well but we shall see.

I doubt I will put a warmaster entry into the WHFB Regiment this year unless I get any spare time at the end.

Squighunter:
i\'ve heard nothing of a new location, this year is definately at the NEC and i dont think they have been there for a while so i doubt they\'d change location any time soon.

Looks like GW are on the ball again this year???

I just received their latest news letter and in it was a link for this years categories...the page it initially takes you too is still the 2006 page???

Here is the LINK

EDIT: No sign of an online entry form yet.

I don\'t buy White Dwarf any more because I thought I was wasting £4 a month on the same old crappy advertisement compiliation, tell me which issue has the rules in and i\'ll get it, i guess i\'m giving into extortion though.. I suppose if you have the skills you could drag this years GD logo onto the entry form and change the copywrite dates..

I haven\'t seen the entry form in any of this years WD yet, they have a bit about GD in one and some pics of last years winners in another but no a=entry form for this year that I can find so maybe that will be in the next WD, that or I have gone completely blind and can\'t see it for looking ???

I guess the only thing to do is wait until a week before the event. It looks like they\'ve got it planned that way, but if you want to aim low and avoid disappointment then wait until a day before the event.

Dragonsreach hasn\'t posted on this topic for over a month now, even though (i presume) he was part of planning last years meeting, can\'t we just arrange it now? Surely we have the brain capabilities..

What about at the same place as last year, initial meeting between 11.30-12.30? This period is when final entries can be placed- first round cut, I\'d think thats a good time for meeting up... :)

next to the repair table for gd entries.

i missed the meet up last year as i was stuck with some mates at the forgeworld scrum.

this year i will definately make the meet up as i only got chance to have a brief chat with a few people last year.

To be a bit more specific it was to the right of the repair table against the back wall between the toilets and the fire escape.

Quite a good area to meet up as we didn\'t get moved on by security unlike the previous year :)

Squig
If you know what you want from Forgeworld then e-mail them nearer the time and reserve your order that way it is all boxed up ready for you to collect and pay for anytime during the day and is a seperate rumble from the main scrum, it saves carrying the stuff around all day then as well :)

No you didn\'t you Buggered off as soon as a camera came out. :D

To All : Meet where you want, when you want. Last years meet was in a good place but I\'d suggest allowing people a bit more time to get \"Shopping\" done.
However I\'ll be there probably hanging around the Golden Deamon entries to see more of the heartbreak this year.

I\'m hoping on getting there if i complete a project i started over a year ago. It would be good to talk to folk this year rather than standing around looking useless :)
