Well thats another GD over.
Was great to met up with so many cmoners.

Sqidders and Neil H\'s mini collections made me drool. Amazing.

Some fantastic entries this year.

Lou W got a 2nd in 40k single and it was an absolutely fantastic einsenhorn. Respect to that man.

Slayer Sword carnifex was amazing, I really need to start breaking fingers.

Well done to everyone, and Donga\'s diorama was mental, he must of spent all year making that........ bloody brilliant.

was realy wierd with various people walking up and asking if i was generulpoleaxe as well, not used to that.

Thanks James, I did a bit more work on it so it is slightly different to the image in my gallery, Mainly bringing the base a little higher so that the gun supprts touched the rock properly then I added som rust to the mount joins and darkened the green with some reddish brown washes.

lol The food was stupid priced. I din\'t bother eating. Also had two pints for free! Not sure how I managed that though!

Though I must have been doing some thing right as I arrived with £65 and left with £50 lol

Chris you were cracking to talk to in the bar, loads of cool tips and hints, cheers for that! And my stuff got the thumbs up from Margo, which is definately a bonus! lol

@matty, just doing what guys like adrian, orb, dragonsreach, automaton etc etc have done for me and others.
you can\'t use the knowledge when your worm food so it\'s better passed on to others to help them, and so on.

Got my first trophy : Silver 40k single Eisenhorn. Wohooooo. Pipped at the post by Automaton\'s Nurgle Marine-Nice one.

Gutted I couldnt meet up to look at Squidders and NeilH collection- I was asleep in the car. Trying to juggle weddings and GD is not easy.....apolgies to the few ppl I chatted to if I seemed a bit spaced out:wow:

Bumped into Adrian Vincenti at the end & he told me this is his last GD- those building a shrine better think of a way to change this

Ok, I have had time to absorb it all now... In all I am glad I went but only to have met you lot really.

The display of the entrance wasn\'t lit well enough for me... I know there are a lot of minis and a lot of cabinets and so on but anything on the 3rd shelf down or below were really in the dark.

The standard of work that I did see was brilliant, especially from the people here. It\'s easy to see why awards were flying so readily in the direction of you lot.

I consider myself to be very fortunate to share a beer and a chat with you all at lunchtime, it was great to see your minis and get some insight in to your art.

I never thought I\'d be motivated to pick up a brush myself but I have to say that I’m getting the urge!

I\'m fighting it though

I don\'t know how you guys managed to get close to any of the retail stand or forgeworld stand, I had a look in the morning and the afternoon and both had an impenetrable wall of stinky people 3 or 4 deep at all times.

Basically, I just wanted to finish up by saying thanks for being so welcoming to a non painter and being so open and sharing with your insight and letting me fondle your minis

I hope I\'ll see you all at the next one and Mr Bay has convinced me to go to euromilitaire next year also... neither are too bad from London fortunately.
