GDUK 08 Duel entry

Hi all.
I have posted my duel entry for the recent UK GD up.
I managed to get a bronze with it.

I tried to push the dynamic nature of a duel to the extreme. Most of which I managed to pull off. There are certain bits I am unhappy with, but its those that always make you strive to try harder.

I have a farly comprehensive wip log that I made as I constructed this. If people are interested I can post this on here to.
It may give some of you an insight of how I go about competition entries and constuction in general.

All comments are very welcome.

Special thanks out to Rob(Demonherald) and Adie(Vincenti) for support during this project.... oh and Andy(Donga666) hah hah

Wow! Doesn\'t get much more dynamic than that. Lovely stuff. The mud coming off the hoof is a very cool touch. Congrats

That is incredibly dynamic- great work. The one thing that keeps distracting me is how the marine looks like he only has one leg from certain angles. But that\'s a very minor point! :) I\'m interested in that rhino thing he\'s jumping off- what is it?

Yes I remember seeing this one somewhere, the sort of piece that sticks in your mind this one!!

Amazing conversion work and the mud and grit adds to the overall chaos of the scene, awesome stuff!

I think its a conversion of the Deamons of Chaos Juggernaught, although i think they may be called \"molochs\" (might mean Deamon) in Germany im not sure. Hope it helps.

The piece is great, perhaps the most dynamic ive ever seen. Well done and congratulations on the Demon :drunk::beer::drunk::beer::drunk:

Absolutly top notch Nigel, This mini is one of my favourite duel\'s seen at GD\'s, Purely for how dynamic it looks. You have posed the models superbly, I can\'t believe this is only scoring around 8.5, I guess the photo\'s do not do it justice, but seeing it on the day was a real pleasure.
Personaly I think it was very close between You and Rob for the Gold, You certainly deserved better than bronze though.
Look forward to seeing your WIP log of this mini.

This was one of my favorite entries, I thought it got gold. I\'m glad you posted decent shots of it. There\'s a lot of action going on with this piece. Great job!

its a great piece mate, shame your pics are about as good as mine. loe the movement on it. If you hadn\'t helped Rob so much with his it might have got gold.
