OK, I lied. It\'s fricking cool! Gave it one of my precious 10s (as there are only a limited number of 10s to give out you know so I gotta be careful with them).
Hate the mini, but that\'s not your fault I just don\'t like the sculpt. Love what you\'ve done with it, makes me want to finish my old Grenadier War Giant that\'s collecting dust in the basement.

realy nice peter, i remember seeing it and having to do a double take as i thought it was the grenadier giant!

For the longest time the Grenadier Goblin War Giant was my \'holy grail\' mini.....I never did land it and I have moved onto other things.....
BUT....Damn!

If I could make one teensy eensy complaint, it would be the water should be swirling around his legs....But, who cares, this is great!

CONGRATULATION, the best giant i\'ve seen through my life and the base is a masterpiece.... Grrrrrrreat!!!!

Really beautiful work.
I would have loved to see a gobbo snorkelling between the legs or somethign like that, but I can\'t really criticize such nice work.

Did this place or what? I thought you might have gone for a fleshy affair, what with your recent barbarians. This has come out marvellously well. I gave it a fat 9. I love the water lol

it\'s a blinder and in the time fantastic...
my first impression on the day was it needs more stuff on the top bit of randomness...then low nd behold read your bit at the bottom and there is more to add...
looking forwad to seeing the finished item...
still at this level awesome..
Any chance you can tell us what you poured the resin into to make the shape and keep such clear sides..

lovely job man. didn\'t realise that was yours. only thing i would say is that it would look better with some ripples (i know i\'m being picky) and also some more gobbo\'s. apart from that, he\'s very nice

The walking in water base is a great idea and I\'d love to have a closer look to check out the stuff that\'s in the water. Apart from the cool base I think the painting is excellent! The skin tones rock! (To put it eloquently.)
I have a small question: Because this guy is pretty big did you use larger sized brushes when painting the larger areas such as the skin?
