GDUK 2012 Painters Dinner

Hi all,

To get the ball rolling on this, I thought I'd stick a thread up on here.

A few of us from over on Platoon Britannica would really like to get a nice pre-GD social event sorted, very much like the recent GDDE painter's dinner. If you're going, and would like to go, I'll collate numbers and figure out where's a good bet (apparently the Little Owl was a bit 'meh' last year).

What we need to know is:

1) Numbers going so we can pre-book tables.
2) Any special dietary requirements - Vegetarians / Vegans / Halal / Kosher what have you - we'll try and accomodate as many as is possible, but obviously won't be able to cover everything
3) Where you're staying. The Little Owl is close to the NEC, but those staying in the centre of Birmingham may have trouble getting there; but if enough people are close to each other we will be able to suggest where to share cabes for you to get collected and dropped off.

Haaaa! I got in stefan has been online-bullying me lately since i havnt had my computer. But i finally remembered my password and logged in! He didnt look at the news lately tho, in Sweden, internet bullying may become a punisheable crime! Justice will prevail!

Awesome! I am really looking forward to meeting you all (again).
I am working on what I consider quite a nice idea for the GD UK... It will take a few more days of building, but I will start posting WIP up to a certain point, soon.

Just like for the German GD, I will have the photo- and video coverage on my blog again. There are actually quite a few events that I will be attending and reporting from this year. Not only Games Days but also other international shows (Scale Model Masters, Hussar, Monte San Salvino). I have a list of events always up-to-date on my blog.

Also I would like to point out that I am currently giving away a 100th subscriber miniature - and we are closing in on 100. So if any of you would have the chance for some free stuff, you might wanna check out my blog - just for that - as well
