Actually, my wife and I have always talked about visiting the UK someday in the future. If I am clever enough, I can plan the vacation to correspond with something like that....

I shall probably be able to give you a very accurate description of the nearest pub...

But if I do go, I will happily share any info I glean.

Mind you...I have this aversion to queues that have more than 3 people in them, hence the almost inevitable retirement to the pub:flip:

Anyhoo, I\'ve already booked the Friday off work so I will hopefully be going at some point. It\'s pretty close to where I live actually

Apparently according to the GenCon website, there should be some cheap accomodation going if anyone was thinking of staying overnight. If nothing else, the location of the event is opposite an awesome beach

I was thinking of going but at the moment I can\'t confirm anything because we didn\'t get a trial done the other week there is now talk of it being that weekend

However if I do go it might only be for the Saturday.
The web site seemed pritty vague as to what was actually going to be there and no mention of the traders that might show up.

....just to update this thread seeing as it\'s so close. I should be going on the Saturday, so if anyone else is around and they want to meet up for a CMON mini-con that would be cool

I found out too late that Gencon had been ressurected and had no time to plan, will definatley try next year if it happens again.
