My second general, they just keep comin\'. Here I used metallics, and I really like the horse\'s armour. Unfortunately you can\'t really see the sword that well, but I did use a number of inks and stuff on it.

Have a look!

I live in Handen. In fact, I only have one friend who\'s also a mini painter. I used to know more people, but I think they have quit painting, more or less. ???

The bronze (?) horse armor looks real good with the exeception of the white highlights. I think those should be more \"bright bronze\" at the wear points, not white.

He looks a little wall-eyed (his eyes are too far apart - not looking in the same direction) but that is only noticeable in the extreeme close-up.

Overall better than a 7. maybe an 8.

great piece, your painting level is increasing every new mii you paint!

i love the metallics, i can suggest a little more highlight on blue and if you want you can put a tiny little white dot in his pupils... it helps to give focus on the eyes a lot!

cheers

Yeah I read about putting the white spot in the pupil on Jenova\'s site, I just have to learn how to paint perfect pupils first. When I get the money from my last auction I will invest in a really fine detail brush (W&N).
The blue is not so highlighted because it had to fit into my bf\'s army, and he paints really dark. This is a pretty shiny piece in comparison, I just can\'t help it ;)
