I gave my mother-in-law a miniature for Christmas about 5 years ago and since then my father-in-law has hinted that he would like me to paint one for him, but I could never think of something good until I remembered that he's a little bit of a civil war buff. Once I found out that General Lee is his favorite person from that era I found this 54mm fig from El Viejo Dragon.
My father-in-law designed and turned the plinth, but everything else is my work. Since this is more of a Southern Gentleman type figure, as opposed to Lee the General, I decided to have him strolling through the grass.
