German Art Fantastix books

I saw some auctions for an Art Fantastix series of books, made in Germany of some really great fantasy artists. I was wondering if anyone has some of these and what they think of them. I noticed that there were books on Sorayama, Boris, Royo, and then several newer artists in the Fantasy style. Dorean Cleavenger, Andreas Raufeisen,Jenifer Janesko, etc.

Thanks

Well, I own #2, 3 and 4 (Royo, Cleavenger, Vallejo), and they\'re real nice pieces. It\'s all paperback, ergo affordable, and the quality of print is rather high. You won\'t, however, find any serious commenting on the pictures like in Royo\'s \"official\" books (for example). If one likes the style of the artist in question, it\'s a pretty fair price for a medley of works. Nice reference material, if you\'re into painting too, I guess. All in all, not a must-have, but nice to have. Hope that helps.

Thanks, I went ahead and ordered a few and man, some of the artwork was really fantastic, especially if you are a fan of Sorayama.
