Get the feeling your\'e destined to never finish a project? (duel WIP)

I initially started this as a planned entry to the 2006 Golden Demon duel category, but never got it finished..., dug it out about a month ago to work on it for a local competition, but since finishing the base lost all motivation!

Putting it up here for you to all constructivley criticize, in the hope that it may give me a kick up the arse to actually finish it.

I still really like the setting, and the interaction between the 2 minis, but could do with some fresh eyes and ideas to inspire me to finish it.

Its got some promise. I would lose the grass and redo it a little sparser. maybe a few tuft growing thru th cracks as well.

OK enough of a break go finish it.

My advice... lose the slotta bases lol

Seriously though, I like the use of height in the piece. I think the stone work needs to be weathered more - green washes or whatever works for you (I\'ve not tackled terrain yet myself). Also, if there was anyway that you could rework the dark elf\'s cape to make it more windswept, that would boost the realism. Still, a great foundation and I hope you do get round to finishing it off and letting us see.
