Well, I just decided to get back into the hobby after a hiatus. I was looking at some of my models and decided that I want to completely redo the color scheme for my Tyranids as well as do some conversions.
Now, my problem is that I dipped some of the models in wood stain in order to get that slimy look without a lot of effort (I needed to get the models done FAST). (http://www.minwax.com/products/onestep/Polyshades-color.cfm ) Do you think there will be a valid way to remove this by soaking it in something? The only model I\'m really looking to \"save\" is a Hive Tyrant (so it\'s all metal).
This was one of the \'fexes I did back then so you can get an idea of the mess it looks like: http://www.coolminiornot.com/102170
No big deal if there isn\'t a way to get it back to the old metal but it would be nice.
