@Mud Duck: There\'s a Sammy\'s Pizza in Waite Park/St. Cloud (where I\'m from), one in Brainerd and two in Duluth. There might be more. As far as the taxes...they\'re too rich. New findings show that something like the top 5% have 80% of the wealth, in the US anyway. Now don\'t quote me on that, just paraphrasing.

1. What was your first job?
Lumping carpet underlays around for my uncle.

2. What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Hmm, tough one but maybe, learn to breathe properly. Sounds odd but a lot aof people actually breathe incorrectly, from just the upper part of the lungs.

3. Who would you least like to be trapped in a lift with and why?
lono, if he\'s going to panic that much, it might start me off.

4. What is your pet hate and why?
Can\'t really think of anything specific right now. There\'s a lot of things that niggle me but I can\'t pin anything down to a particular pet hate.

5. What is your most treasured possession?
A get well soon card that was made for me by a friend at university and was signed by loads of people there. It was when I was struggling with my health and had to come home for a couple of weeks. It really lifted my spirits and gave me the push to get back and try to get through it.

6. What is your favourite meal and whom would you like to share it?
@Wiccanpony, unless you meant someone else, did you mean me? It so happens I love chicken.

7. Where would you like to be in ten year’s time?
In good health and working.

8. If you were Prime Minister for the day what new law would you introduce and why?
Ban huge payouts to board members when their employees are poorly paid and the business or trust they oversee is struggling.

9. Your favourite piece of music?
It all depends on my mood but one of my favourites is Vision, Creation, New Sun by Boredoms.

10. What is the one question that you hope no one asks you?
Where were you on the night in question?

11. What one place would you like to see before you die?
The Earth, from space.

12. Finally, what would you like as your epitaph?:D
Well, looks like I pegged it.

1. What was your first job?

I very occasionally get paid for walking my friend\'s dog, and sometimes sell stuff on eBay and sell fish. But none of those count lol

2. What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

I can\'t remember.

3. Who would you least like to be trapped in a lift with and why?

A homicidal maniac. Duh.

4. What is your pet hate and why?

Stupid people.

5. What is your most treasured possession?

Ooh, tough... my fish tank?

6. What is your favourite meal and whom would you like to share it?

Montanara Pizza (porcini mushrooms, tomato and mozarella and ricotta), with David Attenborough :D

7. Where would you like to be in ten year\'s time?

Hmm... I\'d be 24... I\'d like to have my own house, with a nice garden, a writing job well-paid enough to eat nice food. Also a big fish tank, and a girlfriend :D

8. If you were Prime Minister for the day what new law would you introduce and why?

No use of plastic bags.

9. Your favourite piece of music?

Another tough one. I don\'t think I could possibly say. Albums by Massive Attack (like Lono said) have some of my favourite tracks on it. Also Radiohead\'s first three albums, Is This It? and Room on Fire by The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand\'s debut, Arcade Fire\'s albums and Hot Chip\'s The Warning. At random, I\'ll say Trying Your Luck by The Strokes. It makes my cheeks tingle :D

10. What is the one question that you hope no one asks you?

Would you rather this person or that person never existed? Or something along those lines.

11. What one place would you like to see before you die?

The Amazon Rainforest, and the Great Barrier reef.

12. Finally, what would you like as your epitaph?

I wouldn\'t want an epitaph, I\'d rather be cremated.

Oh, please thecatman. No advice given to you? You\'ve squeezed quite a few out of everyone on these boards. And don\'t get down, if you really want to be in a coffin, I\'m sure you can talk to somebody about what\'s really bothering you.

He may just want to sleep in a coffin, instead of a bed.

@Bill, you\'ll be lucky to own a house at 24 if house prices stay the way they are.

Sounds like I\'m going to have to get up north to try this Sammy\'s out. A good pizza is a small treasure when found
;)
As for the taxes thing, and I\'m paraphasing here as well (and I\'m not trying to get in a fight, maybe just alittle threadjacking :D:D ) but that 5% pays something like 60+% of the taxes (150 thousand per year and up) atlest that my understanding.

ok, here goes...
first job:
first tax payin\' job...baggin\' groceries at the local supermarket at 15...turned into a sideline as a gigilo for rich, bored housewives...when the shop fired me for not joinin\' the union, i was the happiest kid on earth...

best advice:
be yourself...

trapped in a lift:
i can get on with anyone...could be fun to be trapped with someone who would normally not even give ya the time of day, and open their eyes...

pet hate:
racism, or any other kind of ism...

treasured possession:
malekith on foot(i know, i\'m a dork)...

favorite meal:
bean and cheese burrito w/ a good salsa(eg. mary sharpe\'s habenero salsa from belize)...i\'d say it would be nice to share it with my girlfriend, but i\'m a dog, so the truth would be any beautiful woman who looks across the table at me with adoration in her eyes...

ten years:
in the tropical waters, surfin\'...

prime minister:
that\'s a tough one...no one law will help everybody...not to mention, i\'m an anarchist of the utopian variety...i\'d probably fire myself, and move on...

favorite piece of music:
\"forever lovin\' JAH\"- bob marley
this is a beautiful song, with a wonderful message...since i think that man creates his gods, why should we not love them...if people really understood that god is love, and love is god, they would not be killin\' each other...we all bleed red...we all want to be happy...it\'s the simplest things that seem the most difficult...

worst question:
when are ya gonna get a real job!!!

place to see:
as has been said, the earth from space...

epitaph:
he lived to the fullest...that said, i will be cremated, and scattered in the pacific...

everyone has givin\' some very interestin\' and enlightenin\' answers...it\'s amazin\' how people\'s characters can come through so strong in just a few random questions...

one love
jah

Er, take fried chicken, put in the fridge, wait a few hours. At least, that\'s what happens for me.

But since Katrina i\'v read this has taken a major dip.

I\'ve actually heard the opposite, that a lot of the riff-raff never came back. In any case, the old tyme areas weren\'t as affected. No such thing as FEMA back then, so they built above the flood plain.

In any case, I\'ve got family going in December, so maybe I\'ll drop you a line if I remember.
