- Ghosts of Valhalla - My IP 4 Round 1 entry

http://www.coolminiornot.com/171668

This the piece I ended up doing for my round one entry for the Iron Painter contest over at Wyrd Miniatures. I had fun doing it especially playing with textures to try and give it a gritty dirty feeling.

With this winter theme, it\'s interesting how different people do the snow. How have you done yours? It\'s looks like the light, fluffy fresh type of snow.

The snow is a snow making kit I bought from a company over here.. but its made in the UK. Comes from The Smallshop UK from Cammett Limited. Its called Ice and snow coat. The snow is some granular material thats not microballoons though that I mixed with clear liquid matt medium into a slurry and then applied it with a small brush. Drys rock hard.

All of your work is certainly excellent at capturing the atmosphere of the miniatures involved.

Overall good job on this piece.
