Gimme some ideas on these squig hounds ...

Alrighty, so I went through, am going through, a squig faze. Love the little buggers. Easy to paint, fun, something simple ... you get the idea.

Anyhow, I bought a couple of squig hounds off of ebay, got them, stripped them (the dirty bugger just primed over some bad paint jobs) and then got them primed up again, in black this time.

So, while I\'m working on my Rhianna chick, I\'m sitting here trying to figure out what colors to do these buggers in.

Got an idea? In particular, some good colors that would go together, specially with the little mohawks. :D

Gonna paint them up this weekend, just curious on what some of the color schemes ya\'ll would toss out there.

Well, since my friend Steelcult is other wise occupied over in the sandbox and might not get to see this post, allow me to give his standard suggested color scheme for... well, everything! ;) :

Definately go with purple and lime green. You can make one purple with a lime green mohawk and the other lime green with a purple mohawk.

There! WHile I\'m sure this was of absolutely NO help to you, I hope you understand that certain traditions must be upheld :bouncy: Thanks.

One should have purplish-red skin, black gums and white teeth, the other should be a blood red skin with purple gums and yellow teeth. Both mohawks should be \"fire colored\" white at the base fading through yellow and orange to a light drybrush of red at the tips.

One of them shoudl have a gold tooth.

I did two of these for my kids; one for each son. The first I did as a Dalmatian with a dark gray mohawk. The other was a simple brown, but with a big heart tattoo and a rainbow transition mohawk. They fought over who got which one for months.....

Heh, yeah they are cute, thus the reason why I got the little buggers.

Thanks for the comments - I\'ll give it some more thought on what to do with them though ya\'ll have certainly given me some schemes to think and expand upon.

Candy corn - hillarious - will I do it, likely not. Gold tooth ... that\'s got a helluva lot of potential.

Fo\' shizzle ...

Okay, it looks like the candy corn is out, but if one has a gold tooth maybe the other could have a teeny-tiny diamond in it.

That would be hillarious ... I know I\'ve seen those little diamond zirconium thingers for finger nails for women ... maybe one of those.

(idea taking place ....)
