Right I\'m going to host a little competition as I\'m feeling generous.
The winner will receive my latest finished miniature (when he gets finished! Though that shouldn\'t be long, only the details left to do) Furgol, you can find some WIP pictures HERE

The winner will also get a handful of new minis from my half carrier bag sized stash. (I don\'t need em, too heavy in my rucksack.)

So, I have hidden an Amharic phrase somewhere on my website www.matthewbraid.co.uk find it and post the phrase, where it was and what it means on this thread and the first person to do so wins. Could be in a gallery, on the blog, in a review or tute, anywhere. And it ain\'t a trick, the phrase is typed out somewhere. Simple as that.

If it\'s too hard (hehe) i\'l add a clue or two every now and then.

Peace and love...

Okay, might be off base here as I know nothing of Amharic.

Phrase - Fiqir Bandnuht

Now translating is tough. Don\'t seem to have any luck with online translations and google turns up nothing. However, a little digging based on the words being converted into the english alphabet a bit weirdly suggests the meaning as...

\'one love\'.

How did I do?

Damn....I found the phrase right away Fiqir Bandnuht, but have only worked out the LOVE word.

I couldn\'t figure out the other.....

I was going to guess

PEACE and LOVE....but couldn\'t confirm Bandnuht anywhere.....

How do I say \"Shit\" in Amharic?

That was tough!

From what I know the English translations can often have different spellings, it\'s all down to the way the words are pronounced. Which is why I figured this would be good as it helps to stump google a bit!

PEACE and LOVE...

Well that would have just been too easy! lol

Also I\'m trying to work out a comp for my barbarian diorama, but that has to be a really hard one, i\'m thinking treasure hunt style around the net.

Peace and love...

Steve has kindly said to donate the figure to charity when it\'s finished so once it has been painted the figure will be up on eBay with all proceeds going to the NSPCC.

Thanks Steve!

Peace and love...
