Gladiator

Aloa,

this one is a gladiator bust from Young Miniatures in 1:10 - painted for a friend as a gift.

I would like to call this Project \"Butcher Pete\" but i thought this might sound stupid, so it is just a gladiator. More photos, WIPs and some blabla of some apes you may find over at:

As i am still an idiot with my camera or my camera is simply bad as hell i have also made a shoton the workbench... which makes him look way more natural as on the above pictures...

He will get a better looking socket when i arrive home next week.

Thanks Scott... the hair is painted freehand and has no concept, when you look closer at it lol

A great bust to paint which really made a lot of fun...

So realistic bust. You painted it so well, I really like the S.P.Q.R. on his right shoulder.

That gore\'s unsettlingly realistic from some angles. Great work.

I saw this Jar and felt like I had been slapped of my chair no joke, it looks nearly like a still photo.

Only thing i dislike is the way you have done his beard and eyebrows, they look a bit flat, as for the rest absolutely top job, the gore, skintones and metal are just wow

Thank you very much for your comments... i did change the socket, did some more blood on the cut wound on his throat and did some tiny brush strokes here and there...

I\'ll try to bring some actual photos up - thanks to everyone for their criticism and new input which did me make to go for another moment on the bust
