Another good reason not to install Sky tv lol

I noticed Sky One\'s Director Of Programmes, Richard Woolfe said: \"I think it\'s going to absolutely blow people\'s socks off\"

Personally i would have left out the last 3 words of that statement. :)

well it did return here in the states last session so who knows.
Interesting group though, lots of models, wrestlers, a royal commando, and a freelance artist, but a Children\'s day nursery manager?!? What does she bench the kids for fun?

And a stupid American question. What is a stone in standard weight 8-10 pounds?

OK am I really sad then cos I like the idea. I dont have SKY 1 so I wont see it, but still.

I loved the old one, dose that make me even sader?.....stu.....

p.s INFERNO is so hot

I bet that first lass could do some damage in the bedroom, 4lbs lighter than me but without any excess flab. The blokes don\'t look quite as beefed up as the 90s version.

There is no way most of those guys weigh what is posted there, except for number 11.

All but two of the girls had the word \"Beautiful\" in their descriptions and one of those had the word \"Hot\" instead. Gotta like that. :drunk:

My old neighbour was one of the original UK gladiators, Hunter or something I believe his alias was. But I got to met some the gladiators because of him, friends at school were jealous.
On topic, I was a kid when the last one was out, and yes I enjoyed it loads, lol actually had a school boy crush on Jet (think her name was (was like 11 or something at the time)) who I actually met!!!
I won\'t watch it this time round, looking at the time its on I\'ll mostly be out and about at that time, or at work still...
But seriously, the names and costumes. The guy / girl who designed some them should be shot. It\'s like some bondage party gone wrong, and is it me or does it look like they painted number 4 and made her breasts (Sorry girls, I\'m only human) the size of Jordans??

I\'d say Howard Moon, but both are correct. He does look a bit like this Claypool character though.

God I wish I still had sky1. I loved gladiators as a kid (read horny teenager) and I too had a bit of a crush on jets arse. I now watch repeats of the old shows with my little lad on challenge as well as repeats of the crystal maze (they should bring that back too). Kirsty G and Ian Wright are obvious choices for the presenters job and the new gladiators are a lot different in style to the old ones. Id like to see games where contestants could get hurt (maybe a bit of Takeshis castle style stuff in there) but alas I will never get to see as I refuse to subscribe to put more money into murdochs\' pockets who I personally regard as the destroyer of all sport in England.

Spartan (11) a.k.a. Rod Bradley plays for my American football team, London Blitz. He\'s getting the piss taken out of him, specially with the pose he\'s pulling in that photo.

That\'s odd. I watched the US version and the men on there are all MUCH beefier than the UK version.

I actually enjoyed it. \"Crush\", a female gladiator who was IMO gorgeous I recognized as a MMA pro by the name of Gina Carano. VERY talented kickboxer. So that impressed me right there.

Funny thing is, that the winners get a job as gladiators. The winners were NOT big people...so I\'m wondering how good they\'re going to be as gladiators?

Still, kind of nice to turn the brain off and enjoy watching the challenges. Listening to Hulk Hogan as a commentator not so much...lol
